“To this day, I cannot get this engine started. It has gas, it has spark, it has fuel. I’ve tried several fuel tanks, different batteries. It will pop on the choke. It just won’t start. I ended up buying a different brand engine somewhere else for the plane I needed it for. Since I had mounted it and run fuel thru it, I figured I could not return it.”

“Got the engine second hand stating it had only two tanks through her. When I got it' it wouldn't run well past half throttle. After a few day of tinkering I finally found that the bend on the diaphram valve is very important as it supplies fuel to the HS and LS needle. Too much or too little bend deems the needles useless. Try 3.5 to 3.9 mm to the top of the fork if your are struggling with needle settings!”
