“Received this engine quickly although the quick shipping to Canada was a bit pricy I Extremely impressed so far ! Runs extremely well and is a exact replacement for the old 40/50 size glow engines Time will tell with longevity...but with over 2 dozen 10 min flights on it now it seems to keep on ticking!”

“I put this engine on an 8 lb. high wing plane and it pulls it around nicely with plenty of power. I wasn’t sure if a 9cc engine would have enough power but that’s no longer a concern. It’s not a rocket, but for a high wing, it’s plenty. Engine started right up from the beginning with factory settings on the low end and high end needles. I went through the recommended break-in process and the engine runs great. Starts right up every time, has consistent idle and smooth transition from low to high. You do have to prime this engine to get the fuel to the carb. I open the throttle, cover the carb opening and spin the prop several times. MAKE SURE IGNITION MODULE IS TURNED OFF WHEN PRIMING THE ENGINE!! So far this has been a great little engine. Can’t beat it for the price.”

“This engine arrive and fit the airplane nicely. Engine was a little finicky to start and run. I notice fuel leaking out of the carb mount and front plate. Tightened up everything and adjusted the carb and throttle settings. Second tank of fuel and it runs better now. I have 3 NGH engines and have ran 2 so far.The first one the GT17 ran great with no problems at all. Ignition voltage is critical my battery dropped to 4.2v and the engine would not start, put a fresh battery in and it fired right up. My learning curve with the new products. I'm used to the big heavy Zenoah and U.S Engines.”

“Installed this motor in a 60in wingspan stick of unknown manufacturer . Did the maiden yesterday afternoon in 10mph winds and I was surprised on how much power it had. Used a 12x6 prop , not unlimited vertical but, climbed up nicely. 8oz tank and flew 4 - 5min flights for additional break in and still had enough fuel for another. Might have to pick up another one !”

“Also Bought extra replacement carb installed carb on first run ngh 9cc engine. Well pleased with results. Ran both engines using os g5 plugs and one with os powerbox muffler. Both engines run well. Small drop in top end with the os muffler. Replacing the old style carb has given me two good running engines for my 40 size planes. Well pleased.”
