“With the price of 15% nitro fuel going up, I am switching my fleet over to gasoline. THIS motor replaces the OS 46AX I had on my Tower Sport model. Right now I am running a Zinger 11-8 wooden prop on it. ... with an APC 11-7, I could get unlimited vertical with that model, but I wanted to reduce the RPM with this larger prop. The actual engine weighs the same as that OS 46AX, within a tenth of an ounce!... but then you DO need to make room for the ignition module and the 4-cell 5V NiCd or NiMh ignition battery that this module requires.The motor starts easily... electronic ignition and spark plug, rather than a glow plug, seems to make it more reliable. ... Engine tune-up requires a balance between the High-end and Low-end needle valves... and this engine seems to be sensitive to atmospheric conditions... gotta adjust it in the morning and fine-tune it as you move into the day.Be careful with your break-in procedure and you will have a nice running, powerful motor. I plan to buy another one, soon.”

“this thing is junk. Right out of the box i was disappointed because of all the major grinder marks they just painted over them. this thing will not run over half throttle. I have done everything they told me to try and fix this and nothings worked. I got what i paid for -junk..........save you money and buy a good motor,not this one.”

“Motion RC continues to ship super quick, package very well wrapped and shipped - arrived in mint condition.This is my first two stroke gasoline engine. I mounted it to a test stand and mixed up my first batch of 'premix' using Klotz RC two stoke oil. Engine fired right up and ran great right out of the box. Only a few small adjustments needed to the carb during break in - no big deal, I am just over 600 feet above sea level. Motion RC has done it again - perfect shopping experience.”

“Received it Sept 20. Will now need to work with Motion service to see if problem can be fixed. Got it broken in, but can't tune low end. Top end turns 11 x 6 @ 9300 rpm, but only runs with a throttle throat opening between about 40% to 70% open, providing a 4,000 to 9300 rpm operating range. Moving throttle outside of either end of that throttle opening kills the engine. Remains to be seen if this can be fixed, or if it becomes a paperweight. I suspect something is out of spec with the carb.”
