“This arrived at just the right time, wed spent ages settling our pups in, just as we started to make progress the puppies found some sultanas someone had spilled on the footpath and guzzled them down, resulting in 2 nights on IV fluids at the vet with no human company overnight.
When they came home they were more likely to cry at night when separated from us than prior to their vet stay and worked themselves into hysterics where they would previously cry a little they were now howling and wailing if they woke up and couldnt see us. Then the adaptil arrived. There was still work for us to do to reassure them but they have become more subdued and much less fretful when making their where are you? noises. One of the pups now favours the room where the diffuser is rather than napping in my office while Im working and is generally less needy but still super affectionate when Im able to give my undivided attention.”
“I have a senior dog with Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome which can cause him to be anxious and restless at times. I have definitely found he has been calmer since we started using the diffuser and at times he has just taken himself off to sit on the couch instead of wandering around agitated which is a great improvement. He is still soiling the house at times so it did not really help with that issue. He had to have a procedure done to his foot and usually he would be licking at the place where the leg was shaved but this time he barely licked it at all so I think that may be due to the diffuser helping him. His anxiety has meant that even when I just went out the front to do the watering, I would hear him crying but while using the diffuser this has stopped. Unfortunately the refills only last a month though and are very expensive so although I am happy with the results, I dont think I can keep buying refills every month at that prohibitive price.

“I have been using the Adaptil Calm Home Diffuser and Refill for my two German spitz dogs and it is hard to tell if it is making a difference. The product claims to have a calming effect on dogs and some of my friends have mentioned that my dogs seem calmer than usual, so it may be working. However, it is still difficult for me to observe a noticeable change in their behaviour. Overall it may be effective for some dogs, but its not a guaranteed solution.

“Unfortunately my three pugs get very upset every time my toddler screams and it turns in to them howling, we started using adaptil calm and we have noticed that they do not get so worked up and are calmed down a lot quicker. my pugs also tended to get very stressed from occasional visitors and anybody at the door. Adaptil Calm has definitely reduced their stress and barking when this happens. “I have a very anxious Jack Russell who is constantly at unease, even if we are with her. After using this diffuser I found that my dog trembled less and seemed more at ease within the home. The diffuser is plugged into the room where she spends most of her time. I plugged it in and forgot about it as it is not noticable and I cannot detect any scent coming from it, its only for an animals nose. I would definately recommend this product as I did notice a difference in my pet. Even if it helps a little bit then I am happy to continue to use it.
