“My dog suffers from separation anxiety when I am not home. As a puppy I crate trained him that when he is being left alone at home, he will go into his unlocked crate and stay there in his bed until I return home. I plugged the adapter in the loungeroom which is where my dog spends most of his time. From the first moment when I plugged this adapter in, my dog was interested and went up to the adapter and gave it a sniff. The adapter doesnt have a smell that humans can smell so this is good as I am sensitive to smells. I have been using it for a little more than a week now and I have noticed changes in my dog. When I am at work he isnt going into his crate, hell be sleeping on the lounge the whole time Im at work. He also presents calmer when I am leaving for work and isnt trying to bolt out the door behind me. His barking has drastically reduced compared to what it was before. “I have tried this for a solid week, the first night we had a bad thunderstorm, which my dog gets very anxious from. We had it plugged in the kitchen where she was hanging out, it maybe took her a little longer to start to pace and panic, then when we went to bed, i moved it to the bedroom, right next to her bed, but she was still panicking, pacing, whining etc unfortunately. It may have helped her in the mornings, she doesnt seem so keen to jump out of bed and demand breakfast while jumping on me to wake up at 6am, but i have not noticed a major difference in her behaviour unfortunately. She is 13 years old, maybe she is just a bit too set in her ways!

“We have used the Adaptil Diffuser for over a week now and we are both really amazed at the difference its made to our dogs. We have 2 Moodles 1 is VERY anxious and has been taking medication for a number of years now, which help, but he still continuously licks at his paws, terrified of storms, sneezing, unexpected loud noises, car travel. Breaks our heart to see him distressed like that. The difference in a week of using the Adaptil Diffuser is outstanding hes literally like another dog. No more wet paws from licking. Had a storm the other night and instead of flying into bed with us and shaking like a leaf, he stayed on the foot of the bed pretty relaxed no shaking and didnt need us for cuddles or pats to help him out. Truly impressed how its worked so well for him 10/10 . Our 2nd Moodle is a pretty chilled boy normally but can get yappy when he sees people walk past the house. I think hes calmer and when we say stop/enough, he will come back to us faster and stop the yapping. Hes also a wriggler when trimming his hair, I did all around his eyes the other day and was much better at staying still and calm while I did it.Hes a work in progress but hoping with longer use he will calm down a bit more with the outside movement. Cant recommend Adaptil highly enough, only wish we had found it sooner. The fact that its also veterinary used and recommended is an added bonus. Certainly made for more relaxing cuddle time between us and our dogs.
