“I clumsily shattered my previous Ratio Glass Carafe on a marble counter and I needed a replacement for my Ratio 8. I do hope Ratio will continue to offer these for Ratio 8 (and Ratio 6) machines, as I much prefer the Chemex style cone filter to a basket style filter for automating my pour over process!”
“The carafe is elegant. The mesh coffee basket splatters a little bit during brewing, and be aware the glass does not keep the coffee hot for long. I use the glass cafafe anyway, because of the way it looks.”

“LOVE that is is glass and there are no plastic/silicone parts. Also, I fill the glass with as much water as coffee I wish to have brewed and it's super easy to pour into the coffee maker with a spout/mouth so cleanly designed that you can fill the water reservoir with zero mess. Also, unsure about you all, but I like that the glass does NOT retain heat as well as a thermos...I do NOT want my coffee blazing hot but rather drinkable straight away!”
“We prefer this glass carafe over the thermal one that comes with the Ratio 6 because we don’t like to brew coffee in plastic. It would’ve been much better if we could’ve had a choice when purchasing the Ratio 6 machine. Now we have a carafe that we don’t need and we had to pay extra for the one we wanted.”
