“First, thanks for sending a new carafe along. The first one did not activate the induction on our Ratio 6. The company sent a new product unprompted from a note my wife left on the site. We love the entire system and the carafe offers an alternative to the thermal carafe (we also love). The only issue (not Ratio’s fault) is too fine a grind on some “pour over” coffee you purchase pre-ground overflows the filter. A coarser grind is needed to get the water to flow fast enough. We realize we’ll need to grind ourselves. The choice between the flat filter on the thermal carafe and the cone filter glass carafe is outstanding for a slightly different flavor and experience. Love this product.”
“I ordered a replacement carafe but it will not work with my Ratio 6. Apparently some of them have defective magnets. I’ve been trying to get it resolved/get it working for over two weeks now.”
“SO much better experience than the thermal carafe that comes with the Six. Only one thing to clean; no assembly required; no hot splashback when removing the carafe from the Six; and it pours beautifully! The only thing is, it does lose heat quite a bit faster. It’s noticeable. I like to pour into my cup immediately; I find this preserves more heat than using the thermal lid.”
