“When we received our Ratio 8 last fall, it arrived with a glass carafe as the thermal carafe was delayed. While I loved the grace and simplicity of the glass carafe, I was eager for the arrival of the thermal one so that I would only need to make one pot of coffee every morning and the coffee would stay hot. However, when the thermal carafe arrived, I discovered that one pot was not enough AND the carafe is very heavy and simply not as pretty as the glass one. So, when I inadvertently smashed the glass carafe a few weeks ago, I had to get another!”
“The carafe looks like a piece of art and the gentleman I talked to at customer serice is excellent. However, the Ratio 8 is out of stock so I do not know what my finale judgement will be until I can order and receive the Ratio 8.”
“Nice carafe but the "spout" looks like it was somehow cut off short rather than having been simply formed by pinching the hot glass. Makes pouring feel a little strange but it works.”
