“I was so excited for this. I was really sold on the aesthetic and that it was hand assembled in Portland. I absolutely love walnut and it's goes with my mid century decor. Coffee is my first love so I thought how could I go wrong? The unboxing was nice. Properly packed. It look beautiful and feels like quality. Until I took the glass craft out and saw the cheap gold oval sticker that said made in China. I get it, I should have known assembled in Portland doesn't mean made there. I was incredibly disappointed by this. Doe sit make great coffee, sure does. Does it look great on the counter? Sure does. It is a conversation piece, yep sure is. I also hand grind my beans and weight them prior to dumping in the reusable filter. I love this machine but come on guys. Lets get this made here as well.”
“We had our coffee maker for only 5 weeks and it broke, we dropped it off at your facility in SE and have not had an update on when it will be fixed...”
“Wish the glass carafe was dishwasher safe. Find another material for the bottom?
Wish there was a way to keep coffee hot in the carafe—i understand there are trade offs
Just above the filter, condensation gathers on the front face of the unit while brewing…leaves a water mark. For such a beautiful design, it’s a shame
While brewing the basket accumulates water, resulting in a splashing as more water is sprayed from above. Counter gets dirty EVERY time
Final note: I’ve told you before, the long delay in filling my order is entirely unacceptable. On principle I did not retract my order, just too damned stubborn to concede. Also, the promise of free coffee as a consolation prize was both too-little-too-late, and also never sent! Oh, boy…
I hope you are learning from these issues, and striving to get better.”
