“Who knew that you could have luxury and convenience in one! The Ratio Eight Coffee maker has been wonderful, and a bright addition to the dreary morning hours. It also seemingly solidified my title as best gift giver per my boyfriend’s elation, when he was able to brew such a delicious cup of coffee.”
“Coffee taste is insane. No doubt best coffee we’ve made at home ever. Wish it had a hot plate option just incase someone is slow to get their morning cup. Thanks”
“Makes a great cup of coffee! Beautiful design. My one complaint is that the glass pot is made in china. For the price of the unit the pot should be made in USA.”
“I would give the Ratio a 3. While it is beautiful, it is quite large. Unfortunately, it can't brew a full pot of coffee without overflowing (I've confirmed I'm using the correct ground, but still no luck). I have requested a return label, but I have not received it yet.”
“I’m a coffee lover. I have taken classes and experimented with many different brewing methods. I sought out to purchase the “perfect” auto pour over machine which lead me to the Ratio. My goals were to save time and a consistent brew. Reading past reviews and understanding the craft behind the machine I was impressed. What also impressed me was the level and responsiveness throughout the lingering effects of covid supply chain disruptions. It wasn’t about the timing it was about the commitment to keeping us updated. The Ratio team knocked it out of the park. As for having the unit physically it’s hard to appreciate or understand the beauty until you see, hold, use it person. You can tell it’s handcrafted and feels durable. So far the Ratio makes a better more consistent tasting cup every time we use it. The other benefits time savings. Rather then waiting for the water to reach temp in a separate pot, grinding, then pouring to allow the coffee to bloom, then having to steadily pour and hope your not going to fast or slow the ratio does this all for us. I would recommend the product to anyone who shares the same love and appreciation for a east and consistent cup. Also the machine looks like a piece of art and is a great addition to any kitchen.”
“Very expensive for what it actually is. The shower head does seems to trend to one side of the head and does not evenly dispense. Carafe needs a better method of letting air escape, same problem as the chemex. I usually put a spoon in the pouring spout between the glass and filter to allow an air channel so the coffee does not overflow.”
