I have the Garage-in-a=box for about 5 years. Put it up by myself in PA. Took it down and repacked in original box for our move to N C. Put it back up after being in storage for a year. Still going strong with very occasional pinholes from pine cones dropping 40 ft. onto it. Used Gorilla tape on the inside to close holes and forstall rips spreading. One modification- I added jackchain drops fron arch tops to center of rafters to support weight of planned light fixtures. Will look into the heavy weight covers now available when this one ever goes.

Garage in a box, 13X20X12. The frame is good quality in fact Ive had it 4 years now it looks like it can go much longer, The Cover is not good, there customer service is great, there customer service lady I spoke to was a friendly lady that shipped me a New one within a week. My original cover started showing UV breakdown at 10.5 months sun side only. 1 week prior to my 1 year warranty expiration I called and put in a claim that was approved and replaced. My Opinion is this cover should not show EV deterioration as quick as it did and no where on the box does it say you may need to replace the cover at a $600.00 or more replacement cost each year if your beyond your warranty period. You have to figure that out on your own. The UV breakdown only occurred on the sun side and showed little breakdown on the shade side. Over all review is its a good product the frame can go on for a very long time But the cover should simply be better quality and last much longer under UV stress. I would feel a better value and a more reasonable maintenance period to be at least 3 years in the sun. This is my experience built in Northern California.

Hello Rod, We appreciate your feedback and will be using this proactively. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs. Thank you for your feedback!

Bought this product at tractor supply in sept 2022 in Jan 2023 notice some white spot towed to top part. I file a warranty claim ( very easy process online, was actually impressed) and they send me a replacement cover. I thought I would wait after the summer to install it (I’m in California and we don’t have rain until oct or Nov) but it start to show on tears end of July about 2 weeks later there was multiple tears at different location and it falling apart extremely fast

Bought mine less than 2 years ago and came home to the whole top ripped down the middle. For the over $800 I paid for it you would think it would last longer.
