“I got the original garage in a box and the cover lasted for about 5 years. Then a noreaster blew it all to shreds. I replaced it with the Ultra Duty cover and even though it is more expensive it seems to be worth it, It is holding up very well.”

“The Ultra Cover is a great improvement over my previous standard cover, which lasted ~6 years. This Ultra cover, although expensive appears to be worth the money. However, one must anticipate and plan just how to get this heavyweight cover up and over the existing frame. I added extra cross rails between the rafters at the truss braces and at the midway point between truss braces and the side bends. That's 20 cross rails added. Then I put a long pipe through hold-down flaps and hooks at the spaces. I put the cover then incrementally up to the truss brace height. To get the cover over the apex, top bend, I attached 4 long, strong wires from those hooks to my tractor bucket and pulled the cover up and over the frame. All went smoothly.”

“This cover is so much better . when i bought my building years ago i did not know their were heavier covers avaliable had to replace it after alittle over one year got a second one only lasted alittle longer called and learned about the heavier one what ablessing. the heavier weight keeps building more stable with the winds that blow thru our little valley i have antique tractors and my next building i will make sure to get it with the hd cover i did not know when i got my first shelter logic that heavier covers were optional now i am a very happy camper”

So when the cover developed holes after 6 years I was happy to see I could just put a replacement cover on. We decided on the heavy duty and was impressed with the quality of the material.
