Replacement Cover for the Garage-in-a-Box RoundTop® 12 ft. x 20 ft. x 10 ft. Standard PE 7.5 oz. Gray Reviews

4.4 Rating 115 Reviews
No matter how you stretch it, coat it with UV protection or any other measure it will sun rot in 2 years. The upgrade is too expensive for the value you get as well. 2 years at best and plan on buying a replacement cover.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about this! Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. All of our standard temporary covers include a one year warranty and if your cover tears within that time period we suggest filing a claim and having that reviewed and possibly replaced by the corresponding department. Our upgraded replacement cover options are made of heavier materials and have much longer warranties and life expectancies which might better suit your needs (10-15 years). If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to call us at 1-800-932-9344. http://www.shelterlogic.com/support/forms/warranty-claim/ ,Customer Service ,Customer Service Specialist

I seen there’s a lot of negative reviews and about putting super valuable stuff in there and wow it got ruined. To start I’ve had these building for years. I’ve painted cars in them, I’ve stored a number of thing in these. But to clarify it is a high strength tarp material. It WILL withstand sun, rain, snow coverage. Here in Michigan we see it all. Big hail well that can blow through sheet metal and travel trailer aluminum. U will have damage. What do u expect. Key for my successes, if u place this building in an open environment expect some issues with wind moving it around. Invest into deep ground anchors, rope it through the frame and secure. Also think of a wind block. For heavy rains, this building is awsome, just have a tarp under the whole structure to keep moisture out. I invested into the front and rear vents, this helped vent out the hot 80/90 degree days and also helped the super humid day in drying the air out. Just use your common sense. These are very reliable if u prepare it properly. Pay close attention to how tight to racket the top cover over the ends. If it’s too loose some and ice will accumulate and WILL weaken the ceiling. It must be tight like an umbrella so rain will fall off, and snow will slide down. I’ve have 8-12 inches on top before and just made sure to tap the side to get majority of the weight off as soon as possible. For the cost it’s unbeatable, key is these are portable, less than 500$ to setup and store your toys. I had some last 8 years before starting to tear. Think of it as an investment, that 500 dollar structure doesn’t owe u anything! It had a good run. Buy a replacement cover and start over. Just needs that little tlc to make sure it’s ready for the next season.

I bought a month ago to cover my vehicle from winter. It helps with keeping the snow off of my car. On warmer nights during winter it also helps with not having to cover the windshield for frost.
