TRAKK Heating Pad for Neck & Shoulder Reviews

3.5 Rating 113 Reviews
It would be perfect and five stars if it stayed hot. It warms up nicely for a few minutes then chills. Once it's cycled to the cool side, it takes 20 minutes to get it to heat up much again. The controller indicates it's on, but where's the heat.

After a long day in the office chair without a headrest, this guy helps my neck and shoulders relax and ease off my poor brainstem (I usually get a tension headache after eight hours of that chair, even if I maintain the 20-20-20 Rule and take an hour break every four hours.)It has fair coverage even for me at 6ft-220lbs. Cord is long enough to reach from the center of my bed to the socket on the other side of the side table. It's as if someone actually put thought into the design (which is rare in most products these days.) Hope that designer got a nice raise.Heats up in a minute... Seriously, can't think of any negatives. (My only fear is breaking the moldable rod inside from too much bending back-and-forth; it hasn't happened in the past eight months, but, I'm still afraid of losing it.)

I have arthritis in my neck. It goes snap, crackle, and pop all the time. When a cold front comes through, it is painful as well as noisy. This heating pad fits well and stays in place. The magnets close the front and keep the heat in. I start on level 4 to get it warmed up, then move to level 2 for a long, warm, soak. It relieves pain and improves range of movement.

I love the idea of this & having the heat wrapped around your neck. The warmest part is the upper material on the neck. I can't feel the shoulders or back because it's not heavy enough to get in those areas. I'm returning it:(

Don't waste your money or your time with this junk, I tried giving it no stars but they force you to give at least one. I ordered one and it would stop heating after less than 10minutes and the control handle (off/on switch) was getting very warm to the touch, creating a possible fire hazard. Returned that one and got a replacement but it too quit heating after less than 10 minutes. Needless to say, I won't be getting another one.

The cover is very soft and snuggly, and the unit heats up quickly. However, I bought this to help apply heat to a strained tendon in my neck, but the heat mostly focuses on the upper back. There's also not enough to secure the unit around the neck for purposes of heat application. There's a magnet in the front to keep the pad closed at the collar, but it's not strong enough or tight enough to keep the pad snug around your neck. Great pad for heat to shoulders and upper back. Not so much for neck.

4 heat levels work great, the highest gets plenty hot for me.My biggest complaint is that it's too wide and bulky. I am slender and this is too wide so the front pieces just flap open. I have to overlap them and pin it in place if I want it to wrap around me.I can put up with the bulkiness though because the pain relief is intense and instant. I've had to use a lot less medication which I really like, so it's worth it.

The heat is only in the neck area and not the shoulders. Also, the neck feels like a straight jacket with a bar that does not easily adjust at the base of the neck area. I really tried to work with this because I need a new one. My point is that I wanted a shoulder heating pad and this did nothing for me where I needed the heat.Sunbeam really needs to work on their shoulder area heating pads. I have another one that is 1 1/2 years old and gives no heat at all anymore. This is frustrating because I just cannot find a product like this that works.
