TRAKK Heating Pad for Neck & Shoulder Reviews

3.5 Rating 113 Reviews
Heats quickly. Magnetic closure works well. Silky, soft fabric. I gave it a 3 star rating for pain relief because of the inadequate size. I am a medium frame female with an average size neck and the size of this device barely "fits". . The upper back portion of this heated cape doesn't reach my shoulder blades and only extends outwards on the top of my shoulders to the shoulder seam of a traditional fit blouse. The "neck" heating element is great immediately at the base of my skull, at the back of my head, but although the neck piece extends about 2/3 around my neck, it is not heated on the sides therefore does not warm tights muscles in the sides of my neck.

Nice weight to this, the edges are filled with weighted "grains" that allow the heating pad to sit nicely.Gets wonderfully warm!I don't know if the auto off works, I haven't tested that feature yet.My only complaint is the neck pieces, I am smaller than the frame this was built upon, for it to sit nicely on my I need to overlap the "chest" pieces rather than using the magnets to keep it closed. The neck piece does not sit tight enough around/on my neck to stay as hot as I'd like it.Would buy again, but would want a 'smaller' version

This neck and shoulder heating pad works pretty well. It heats up quickly but only stays hot for a short period of time before cooling off. I find this typical of consumer grade heating pads. It is comfortable to wear and heats pretty evenly. I would like a few more degrees of heat on the highest setting and have it stay hot for at least thirty minutes.

I have nuts bolts and spacers in my neck. When things flare, I tried those microwave bags, they work for 10 minutes and that is it. Tried this item with great hope, but wish I read more than top suggested reviews. It got warm, luke warm at best. I did not get any relief. I ended up using the stupid thing to hold a working heating pad in place.Tried it for 3 days and gave up. Great design in every part but the heating element. It stayed in place, it was weighted in right spot, but did not do the job.* If anyone finds a good product leave a comment.

I was so anxious to receive this item, I thought it would be perfect for my neck and shoulder pain. However it is way too big for me, when I first used it I thought it would work, but it is very bulky and I couldn't adjust it around my neck, the temperature was either too hot or too cool and the neck band was to high making it even more uncomfortable.I am only 5 feet tall, and it just isn't made for a smaller female, wish there was a smaller version, and that the heat would be more consistent.Good idea but definitely not worth the price , so I will be returning it

I don't know why so many people think this heating pad is so good. Maybe it works for them, but not me and it it was waist of my money!!!I bought this heating pad to re-leave shoulder pain. The heading pad is designed to relief neck and shoulder pain. The problem is that the neck part goes up so high on my neck and raps around my lower face... This is very unconformable for me to use... In fact the heat on my neck causes me problems and I am unable to use it long enough to help or relief shoulder pain! The bottom line, make sure that this heating pad design will work for you before you spend the money to buy it...I gave this heating pad to a friend who has shoulder pain and from time to time minor neck pain. She feels the same way I do about the neck part goes up to high and raps around her neck. That it is unconformable for her to use and it doesn't do much for her either..

My husband has residual neck and rotator cuff problems from a 100 lb dog collision and he regularly uses ice and heat for therapy. This Sunbeam Renue heating pad fit his shoulders and neck perfectly and he wears a men's large size jacket. The neck area provides more heat than the rest of the pad, but the entire pad is heated. It is rather heavy for a heating pad, weighing in at about 2 lbs., which is why it can contour itself to your body so well. The entire perimeter of the pad is weighted, filled with a bead like substance. The cover is extremely soft material and would feel very comfortable on bare skin. There is a magnetic closure in the front which helps to close the neck and keep the pad in place. There is also a wire in the base of the neck, which allows you to mold the fit custom for your neck. The collar can be turned down if it makes you more comfortable. The 9 foot cord is detachable so the pad can be washed safely. Instructions state to wash the pad on gentle cold settings and dry on low heat or line dry. The four heat settings are a nice option and I can attest that the high setting is pretty hot. This pad is more expensive than a normal heating pad, which for most applications should suffice, however if you have neck and/or shoulder pain, this is an excellent option. I have always found Sunbeam heating pads to last a long time.

Absolutely love this heating pad. I am suffering from a shoulder injury.. waiting on MRI to confirm but it sounds and feels like my rotator cuff. Unfortunately it's causing a lot of tensions on my neck and back as well. I was up for hours through out the night in pain Despite being a pore college student I decided I needed something to help with the pain and this was perfect! Not only does the heat sooth my pain but the neck support keeps me in alignment! I slept so good the very first night and have worn it every night since. I only turn the heat on as I'm falling asleep.. not safe to keep on all night I wouldn't think, but the thing is so comfortable and it stays on all night without the heat so soft! There are a few things I don't like... the cord is obnoxious where it plugs into the heating pad, but it's unplug-able if you just wanna wear it for comfort without heat. Also, the neck is kind of big where the magnet attaches.. although I've been told I have a small frame. I don't close it by the magnet and just wrap one side on top of the other and bend the adjustable neck tighter, and it stays very well! Last thing is I wish it heated up more in the front but no buggy considering it heats up so well everywhere else ☺️Overall I love it! Nothing's perfect and there are bad reviews and good reviews for everything.. truth is this works wonders for people with upper back, neck, or shoulder pain. I plan on getting my mom one!As a future Physical Therapy assistant.. I say this is a must have!
