“Should change the name to 'Neck heating pad' because it does little for the lower and outer shoulder muscles. Most of the heat is concentrated on the neck, some heat on the top of the Trapezius muscles (top of the shoulder) near the neck, but the pad is too short in the back and not wide enough on the sides to put heat on the lower part of the Trapezius' (over the shoulder blades) and nothing on the Deltoid muscles (on the outer arms). Was not what I had hoped for.”
“This heating pad is super soft and heats up well. I have used many heating pads and many items for heat and cold for pain relief. The only issue I have with this heating pad in particular is that because of its thickness it's not particularly flexible. Sometimes I want to use it flat on my upper back. Sometime I want to use it more for a neck wrap and it it supposed to clip in the front of the neck easily in front of the neck area, hence the purpose of the magnets inside that area. The area with the magnets just isn't as comfortable as the one I replaced but haven't been able to find.”
“This is my 3rd electic neck heating pad, and wow! -- it is the best by far! I had the previous version of the Sunbeam heating pad (light green colored, I wore it out), and I always wished it could somehow lay better/closer on my neck. I even went so far as to put one of those beanbag/microwaveable neck things on top of my old heating pad so i could get heat where I wanted it. Problem solved! This NEW VERSION has a thick, sturdy, bendable wire in it, so you can curve the pad just right, making better contact between your sore neck areas & the heat. It's fantastic!! Plus it has higher sides (the bits wrapping around from the back), giving even better coverage. It seems quite durable, is super soft, and way more effective than any other heating pad I've tried.”
“I've have had to live with cervical/occipital issues along with pinched nerves from those issues since I was 13 years old. I have been through my share of ice packs and heating pads along with numerous other modalities seeking relief of pain. This heating pad has been a godsend. It's the only heating pad I have found that goes all the way up the back of the neck to the skull base. It has a wire enabling it to do so by custom molding to your neck right up at the top of the heating pad. I just can't say enough good things about it. I don't know how long it has been on the market, but I wish I would have purchased it sooner. I don't have a problem with the degree of heat it puts out on the high setting. It stays on for a long time without turning off. It's awesome in my opinion.”
“It's super comfy, easy to use and the heat is pretty good. I would like it to be hotter but it's still good and u can keep it on for a while. Grips really well around the neck. Overall happy with my purchase! And my Pitt bull loves it too!”
“I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do! The fabric is so soft and the heat hits me where I need it most, my neck and shoulders! To be honest the first time I used it I almost fell asleep because it felt so good. My husband has arthritis in his knee and he wrapped the collar around it and enjoyed the heat. It's not supposed to be used for other body parts but it worked. Glad I purchased this!”
“I bought this to replace a similar one I had that stopped working (different brand). This one works well for heat and pain relief. My one complaint is that it's very thick and heavy, much more so than the previous one I had. This makes it hard to sit back flat against the couch and adds some discomfort from the weight of it on my shoulders. It will work for my needs but I preferred the other one I had - though that one only lasted about 1.5 years.”
“I love this product. I was hesitant to spend so much but it was worth every freaking penny. The neck portion actually does heat. I thought because it wasn't tight that the neck wouldn't really feel the heat. But it does. I'm having severe neck issues and this does help with the pain. I have only gone as far as 3 with the heat. Normally I keep it at 2. It eases the pain and actually relaxes me. I let the heat soothe me which also helps my frame of mind.”
