“Well, very disappointed in this item. I have quite a few Swan items which i truly love, however this one falls way short. First of all the directions are not a true depiction of the front of the tea maker, resulting in them being 100% useless, the jug needs to be placed very specifically not a cm off or it does not work and this is accomplished only by trial and error, but the ultimate disappointment come from the setting of it. It will not allow me to set the alarm, if I set the alarm the time is not accurate. To be honest if I hadn’t tossed all the packaging when it arrived you would have it back. So basically, I have a worthless item as the ‘tea now’ works but that is not what I need or want as I have an instant hot water tap.”
“Really pleased with the design and look of the teasmade especially the glow in the dark clock. It takes a bit of practice pouring the tea as the spout doesn’t always pour straight, I keep a tray underneath just incase. Delivery was very quick and on time, overall I’m very happy.”
“Purchased this model recently when my old one started to leak. The light dims automatically when the room gets dark, however not enough, it is still so light it keeps my husband awake, so it has been relegated to the spare room. I wish there was a manual option still, a backward step in the design.”

The new one doesn't have the same build quality, and wobbles on a flat surface - possibly missing foot inserts?
Also, the first time I used it, when pouring, the lid fell off and a lug broke off, even though it was fitted correctly. The boiler cap no longer incorporates a rubber gasket, but seems ok at the moment.
Have to see how long it performs for.”
