This machine has been a game changer. The control is great, the tearing force hasn’t let us down and switching out buckets is really simple. Nice design. The grapple with the static thumb has come in handy as well. We have issues with separating sod and roots from soil we excavate, but with the grapple we can grab a pile, shake it out and gain back a lot of soil without rummaging through a pile by hand. General debris loading with the grapple is a breeze. I’m so happy with this setup!

Everything from ordering, follow up communications, and shipping, to receipt and the initial performance of my new E60 backhoe attachment on my 743B exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the workmanship and materials used. 12" bucket is more than sturdy enough for a backhoe attachment of this type. The thumb is a home run. It's really not in the way when you don't need it, but ready to tackle some pretty tough tasks when you do. It is also easily removed. The fact that you can pretty much get any replacement part you need is another advantage. I would recommend this attachment to anybody seeking a cost effective solution to a multitude of digging, trenching, and clearing needs.

The E60 is a no-frills backhoe attachment but within its limitations it's an excellent piece of equipment. The hydraulic quick disconnects work well and there's a velcro loop to keep the lines out of trouble. The piston is quite strong using regular flow auxiliary hydraulics on my twenty year old B763. I understand that there had been an issue with the thumb pin being bent but the pin that this shipped with was very wide. I think that they may have resolved that design flaw. I ordered mine with the narrowest bucket option because I intended to use it for trenching. I just used it to dig a French drain. It dug very effectively through sandstone and dry clay that an augur attachment had struggled with and my Hilti TE905 jack hammer was bouncing off of. A unit with a left-right pivot would save some time and cost more money. I'm happy with this one. Receiving it was somewhat awkward. It comes securely palletized but it is secured to a single pallet standing up on its attachment plate so it's a bit top heavy. We had the delivery driver roll it to the edge of the truck using a pallet jack and then we tipped it into our bucket on its pallet. We landed it near where we intended to store it and we cut the bands off of the pallet. Then we tipped it forward onto a palm tree log stood on end so that it landed on the log and balanced itself. To be fair, the delivery company offered a lift gate at an additional charge and we rejected the option because we didn't realize that it would be stood up on its plate. I would have had them lower it down if I had it to do over again but there's still the issue of getting it into a horizontal position. Dealing with Skid Steer Solutions was simple and low pressure. Shipping was expedient.

I had some oil leaks at first, simply because some fittings were not tight. However, I can believe how good it works. Very pleasantly surprised.
