“I am so happy we did this. My 11 year old grandson wanted to go camping for his birthday. I was a little nervous because I haven’t been camping since I was a child. It turned out to be an awesome experience. The campsite is exactly as described. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Fishing, swimming, and plenty of nature. Yet on 20 minutes away from stores and restaurants. And yes we did leave once to go to a restaurant.”
“This place is absolutely amazing. It is extremely secluded and you get the tent, a swing, a firepit, a rope swing into the stream, and a lot of amenities provided by the hosts. James and Lynn keep the area perfect and were extremely helpful and kind.”
“I really can't rave enough about this campsite! The hosts communicated with me on our way there and never once complained about my changing arrival time due to accidents on the interstate. They were waiting for us when we arrived and escorted us to the campsite...and what a camp site! First impression was how big, clean, and private the site is! In addition to all the required amenities from Tentrr, they had games galore, lanterns, flash lights, paper towels and toilet paper, extra batteries, bug spray, hand sanitizer, a fire pit with grill and a Coleman stove, even tubes to float the river! My husband and I had the most relaxing weekend we've had in years! We told our host we were experienced campers and were looking to get away and he gave us contact information for everyone on the farm then left us to it. We never saw another person all weekend. Highly recommend this camp site!”
“This was the most private camping experience ever. The host provided bedding, firewood with staters, plenty of lighting, water, camping stove with gas. The private access to the river was perfect for our dog. There are 3 tubes there if you want to take it out on the river. We will be back!”
“We really enjoyed our time at Skipping Rock and Honeysuckle Hideaway. Both sites are delightful. Skipping Rock definitely had better river access. Because of where it’s positioned it also gets more sun. My friend and I stayed at the two sites overnight this past weekend. Plenty of comforts and amenities (including firewood, starter logs, fire device, sheets and blankets, lanterns etc.) were provided. I’d stay again in a heartbeat! It was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. James and Lynn were the perfect hosts.”
