“My husband, kids (7 and 3), and I had a lovely two-night stay at Osa Trail! Alex greeted us upon arrival and was super helpful, getting us set up with firewood and water. The location is wonderful: secluded and quiet with an amazing view, wild blueberry bushes all around, and a close drive to many of the area's attractions. We would highly recommend this site to other campers.”
“The tent had holes that were covered by a plastic cover outside so rain doesn't come in. The tent did not close properly, allowing rodents to come into the tent. Have to leave with own poop in car which was not ideal.”
Hey there, again, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. I've been in touch with the host at this site, and have gotten them the forms to request a new tent to rectify the holes and nonworking closures that allowed the elements in on your state. We would love for you to give Tentrr another try, and can't wait to see you out camping with us soon!
Best,
The Tentrr Team
“I have no complaints. I had everything promised and more than needed. Bonus - I had great cell reception and 5G coverage on my T-Mobile phone.
I know "glamping" is kind of a spectrum. Some expect luxury, some expect simply a step up from regular tent camping. I would say this site is in the middle. It could have been cleaner, but it had all the features I paid for and even some extras. And from the brief phone conversation Alex and I had, he seemed like a friendly guy.”
“What a beautiful, private, clean location! Super easy to find and Alex was helpful in answering any questions prior to arrival and supplying us extra firewood for a small fee upon arrival- totally worth it! The road leading up to the site is pretty steep, would recommend a 4wd if you decide to come up during the winter months like we did. There was about 8inches of snow on the ground, the road wasn’t plowed but we came in a truck and it wasn’t too difficult to get up there. It’s about a 50 ft hike to the campsite from the road. There was a cleared foot path, so wasn’t too hard unloading and getting situated with set up. Even though there’s plenty of trees, there was still an ample amount of space to view the stars from the tentrr deck. Alex made little side tables on the deck, perfect to set your beverage on.
The campsite is surrounded by 100s of acres of state land which backs to the Catskills. SPECTACULAR views from the tent we could enjoy the sunrises and see about 5-6 mountains ranges depending on the day. Despite the negative temperatures at night, having the mats that Alex laid down, really cut the cold air. At times the tent was so hot that we had to open the windows to cool ourselves down. The wood stove throws some serious heat!
We could hear the creek running from our site, which is located down the hill. Unable to see from the campsite but could be assessable if we wanted to make the hike through the snow. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, away from main roads and shenanigans of life this is the spot!! We may have hear two planes in the distance within the 3 days we stayed. We are already planning on coming back in the fall.”
“Met the host, got setup in the tent, had the unlimited firewood i paid for. That tent got surprisingly warm in a 10 degree night with the wood stove properly setup. Was really a beautiful site that was extremely quiet, it's not near any highways or main roads and i heard maybe two or three planes total for two days. You have to be in decent physical shape to move your stuff from the car to the site but i considered it normal. Not sure what's up with the negative reviews, maybe people not taking their waste from the loo and their garbage from the pail mad about the additional cleaning charge clearly noted, i dunno though. Host was friendly, got everything i paid for, site was beautiful, and i didn't get any additional charges. Probably coming back at some point in the future.”
