A great camping experience! It was a bit cold at night and we should have brought more blankets but overall a very fun time! We spent new years keeping our oven warm and popping a bottle of champagne, I'd recommend here for a quiet and romantic destination. I would recommend bringing lots of firewood, fire starters, and a skillet to use on top of the oven. We only spent a night but felt very lucky to have such a beautiful night.

This was a beautiful spot and Alex, the camp keeper, was very kind. Sundown wild forest also borders the property for lots of exploration opportunities. The canvas tent when we visited in December 2020 was showing its age with many patches and staining, though it did keep us dry. The wood stove also needs attention as the stovepipe has several small holes from rust. Despite this, we stayed warm and smoke was not an issue. We purchased firewood and there was plenty, but it was not seasoned and didn't light easily. You may be better off bringing your own.

Alex provided everything that we needed and made sure that our tent was well maintained and clean. I definitely recommend the OSA Trail to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and peace with some adventures having so many hike options around.

Absolutely beautiful location and warm and considerate host who went above and beyond for us. The view is particularly incredible at sunrise. ( You can even gaze across to the mountains from the camp loo!) The campsite is a delight — clean and open and free of poison ivy. Trees for shade. Open areas for sun. The location is quiet and relatively secluded. While there is much to see and do in the area we never really left the property. It had everything we needed. The only reason it doesn’t get a five is that both the tent and stove are a bit the worse for wear. But the camp keeper says the tent will be replaced soon.

We loved our trip to Osa Trail with our two kids (2 and 7) and dog. We really needed the time away and Alex has a really special spot. It was our first big camping adventure, and it was a huge success. We plan to return!
