“Carrie and Michael have a beautiful, comfortable and lovely setting. It was exactly the peaceful, serene, private getaway we wanted! We can't thank them enough! They have thought of everything possible and it is fully equipped with anything you would want or need! I highly recommend this camp site to anyone. This was our first glamping/camping trip and we loved it...Being on a pond was nice as it was calm and swimming/paddleboarding friendly, without worry of swift, changing tides or any traffic. A treasure of a spot! I definitely would recommend the Gas refrigerator--what a help to not worry about ice and food staying cold. Great trip and thank you again!”
“Mike and Carrie were not lying when they said this site was private. My boyfriend and I were so excited to have a tent on water but we were even more pleased to see that there are only 2 other houses on the lake (however, you cannot see them or be seen by at the campsite). It was completely untouched water that was perfect for fishing.
Carrie was extremely nice and answered our texts very quickly! We booked for 3 nights but on the second day we realized we did not want to leave. Carrie was so accommodating and allowed us to stay an extra night.
The campsite had the most beautiful sunsets over the water, stars at night and even a thunderstorm which was fun to sit and watch in the tent.
This campsite came with everything! The gas refrigerator worked great and gave us one less thing to worry about.
Overall this site was just the perfect PRIVATE getaway. We will be back. Thank you again Mike and Carrie, you are really great hosts!!”

“This campsite was absolutely perfect. We rented the site for two nights and didn’t see another person the whole time we were there. It was like we had this gorgeous lake all to ourselves! If you are looking for privacy, calm, peaceful, relaxation, this is for you. The lake is great for swimming, the bottom is rocky sand, no slimy plant life, just warm, beautiful water. The water slide raft was a big hit with our two daughters. There were several add-ons available. We opted for the refrigerator (must have), gas grill (must have), and canoe (used only once briefly because it was infested with spiders and my girls are terrified of spiders). The large canvas tent with queen size air mattress was reasonably comfortable, but the mattress was extremely loud with any movement so we didn’t get a very good nights sleep. We did make use of the wood stove in the tent because the nights got pretty cold, that was a great feature. There were lots of little extra touches that made our stay fun and special. You can certainly can tell the hosts, Mike and Carrie, take pride in their site and want their guests to enjoy their stay. I am giving only four stars because of lack of communication. We got a little lost on the camp road and couldn’t get ahold of Carrie even though I texted, called and emailed her multiple times. A note for future campers, once you turn onto the camp road, parking for the site is .7 miles in. A sign or a marking on a tree near the parking area would have saved us an hour of our time that we could’ve been enjoying the campsite instead of driving up and down the camp road lost. (A side note, you WILL need a vehicle with decent ground clearance to drive this “road” we had a RAV4 which was just fine). Overall this was an excellent family vacation and we can’t wait to come back next summer.”
“This campsite blows you away from the minute you arrive. Check-in was very easy - Mike & Carrie were great communicators before I arrived and were on site to walk me around and get settled. The amenities were amazing - the griddle and fridge were worth the extra. The canoe was easy to launch and swimming was easy off the dock. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing spot with plenty to do.”
“An absolutely incredible experience! We fished (caught a large mouth bass!), swam, canoed, slid on the private water slide, grilled, roasted s'mores, relaxed in the hammocks, read, and spent time simply being outdoors and enjoying this beautiful site. Every detail was considered by Carrie and Mike for our stay. We saw one other person on the lake during the three days we were there- it was so private! We will be back!”
“What a beautiful site, completely equipped with everything one could need! Unfortunately I did not know that Carrie had provided everything and brought way too much ! The only improvement would be a really complete list from Carrie as to what is at the site , so future campers don't have to lug lanterns, etc. The fridge was. a big plus providing ice and she also had a huge cooler one could fill with ice and drinks.
We loved the lake and dock and I would highly recommend this gorgeous spot. Carrie and her kids were incredibly helpful and it was a wonderful experience ! Many thanks Carrie and MIke (and kids !)”
