“This was our first experience with tenterr and think we hit the jackpot. We rented the canoes, fishing poles, and refrigerator and would highly recommend you do as well. The land is located on a large pond with excellent bass fishing. All three of my boys caught them with great success. It was wonderful for them to just take off and canoe around (plenty of life jackets in various sizes are there). There are two other camps on the pond but we never saw another person so it really feels like the pond is yours to enjoy. Mosquitoes only came out after dusk -so prepare in advance with your spray. Plenty of seating options (chairs, picnic tables and hammock!) Next time We probably would rent the stove as well as it just would have been more convenient than bringing ours since there is a short (2 min tops) walk from the car to the site. FYI if you are looking for a #1 rated, andrew Zimmerman, lobster roll Red’s Eats is just down the road in Wiscasset if you want to stop on your way in/out. There is one queen bed in the tenterr tent with room for at least one other person to get set up. (One of our kiddos slept on a sleeping pad) The other tent is already up with plenty of room for three. The pond is clean - no gross pond scum or weeds in the swimming area. There is cell service but highly recommend you to unplug, relax, take a trip down the slide and enjoy this special spot.”
“Carrie and Mike went above and beyond with this Tentrr site. There was everything that you could possibly need - and more. Candles around the site, twinkle lights, hammock, cooking utensils, drying rack, first aid kit, even spare sunglasses! My boyfriend enjoyed canoeing and the plethora of bass. I enjoyed sitting on the dock with a book. We both had an amazing time, and plan to go back. Also a great set-up for families.”
“This was a perfect getaway from the city!
We were welcome upon arrival, and received help getting to the site (the roads were in bad conditions when we arrived - it was fixed during our stay, so we were able to get to the site with our car for departure).
Everything is well thought and organize! The propane-fridge is a real plus : no need to run to get ice or anything! We used the BBQ a lot combine with one of our camping stove. The site is very secluded, very private and relaxing.
The pond/lake was warm, perfect swimming.
The tent, the mattress, the fire place - everything was as expected - even more!
This was our first Tentrr experience and have already recommended it to friends and family : the perfect set up for very private glamping.

“We travelled form CT and it was well worth the 5 hour drive. During the week it was peaceful on the lake and we explored every nook and cranny of shoreline, venturing down every channel, using the canoes provided. The dock and swim dock were used constantly. WE caught and released lots of fish which added a lot of fun!The camp site is so well set up with a fridge, two cooking surfaces, sink, pump water, counters, two tables, and shelves and hooks everywhere that we really enjoyed cooking up gourmet meals! and then eating them in front of the spectacular view! Everything was clean and comfortable and the owners were so patient with us and accommodating, especially when we were nervous trying to get our car down the long lane to the site (it is best to have high clearance SUV which the owners had told us about). They were immediately responsive and so kind and helpful with any question we had. Just a lovely family! It is a beautiful private retreat and has everything you could want and more for a great camping experience.”

“Beautiful secluded camp! Owners thought of everything to make your trip relaxing. My boyfriend, dogs and I had the best weekend. You are in your own little area so the dogs could roam free and we were bothered by other people at all. Separate tent that is already set up for the toilet and secluded area for the shower. Plus the outdoor kitchen with water pump made everything easier. Highly recommend.”
“We had an awesome time at Mike and Carrie's camp. We spent the day by the lake and enjoying the view and took advantage of their great cooking set. Mike and Carrie's family took us around the camp when we arrived and showed us everything: you can tell they love camping themselves so they litterarrly thought of everything: there's a separate tent for the toilet, garbage bags, a lighter, a wine opener.... Had a great time and would love to go again! Keep up the good work!”
