“We had an incredible time at Private Waterside Retreat. Mike and Carrie were very gracious hosts, her and her daughters even met us at the campsite to show us around and help get us settled! The walk from the car to the site is short, easy enough to carry in all our stuff. There's also tons of amenities at the site, including a wash station with extra drinking water, unique firepit, extra picnic table, and tons of chairs! The lake was completely private - we spent the day swimming and canoeing and the evening stargazing, we even saw some shooting stars! While it rained a little during the evening, both the canvas tent and pop-up tent kept my friends and I completely dry. It's a very unique site that we would love to return to!”
“This site is amazing. Mike and Carrie have truly thought of it all, and we were constantly being surprised by their thoughtful touches throughout the campsite. They really have gone above and beyond, and that combined with the complete seclusion on a peaceful pond all to ourselves made this trip feel like a dream. Definitely want to come back!”
“Our stay at Mike & Carrie's was amazing! We had a group of 5 and were able to comfortably stay in both the large canvas tent and extra pop-up tent that was extremely easy to set up. Was pleasantly surprised to find a separate area for the toiler and shower, cookware, games, and bug spray. We enjoyed sitting around the fire, grilling, and canoeing on the lake. Can't wait to camp here again!”
“This site is excellent and the hosts were very accommodating. The site is a personal oasis tucked away in the woods (privately owned) and very scenic. It was a beautiful location and we loved sitting by the fire. This site was perfect in every way. Seculed. Private. Clean. Quite. This site is highly recommended and I will certainly be returning in near future.
