“This site was perfect for our weekend away! It rained one of the days we were there, but we just put on rain jackets and explored the grounds - there's a creek that's great for fishing and a short overlook trail. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. Highly recommend to escape for a weekend!”

The outdoor shower worked well with plenty of water for both of us to shower. The owners of the farm are warm and welcoming. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.”

“My husband, two dogs and I spent Labor Day weekend at this perfect campsite. Genavieve and Dennis were wonderful hosts. We appreciated learning about the history of their farm, the indigenous people and how they are helping these tribes. This campsite was private, quiet and well kept. Genevieve added so many extra special touches to the site. It just made it that much more fun. The bed was so comfortable we did not want to get out each morning. The shower was private and easy to use. We really appreciated the fire wood and drinking water supplied by the campkeepers. We hiked the well-marked trails around the farm, through woods, down by a river and to the top of the property, just breathtaking. This site is close to other, more difficult trails, we spent an afternoon hiking the Appalachian Trail with our dogs. You can do a lot of physical activities or just hang out in the comfy hammocks on the site. This was our first Tentrr experience and we were so impressed. Genevieve and Dennis are awesome camp keepers, I highly recommend this campsite. We plan on returning as soon as possible.”
“We absolutely enjoyed every moment at The Algonquin Gitigaan and look forward to returning in the late fall. We thoroughly enjoyed the site and all it had to offer. We had intentions to fish, hike and swim, but found ourselves at such peace at the site that we stayed put for the most part just enjoying the open air, scenery and each other.”
“Great place to stay with children. The trails were clearly marked and the creek was a short walk from the campsite. The view outside the tent was beautiful, looking out to the mountains. The beds are comfortable and the anywhere commode was clean and simple to use. The sun shower is the best set up I’ve seen at a tentrr site, so far; set up as a legit outdoor shower, my daughter and I were able to wash off after hiking in the creek for hours. Even though it rained we were able to make a fire inside the tent, enjoying our hotdogs and s’mores while listening to the rain and looking out at the view. We can’t wait to go back!!”
