“Husband and I absolutely love Barkely's Resort, we booked again because the first time was so awesome. We are hikers, this time we decided to just stay put and enjoy the stream, the campsite and to just relax. You won't need anything (wait, charcoal!) while staying there, everything has been thought of, the site is so well kept and there are ongoing improvements. Just love it.”

“If you want to reconnect with nature, spend time relaxing at a beautiful campsite, and have the absolute best host to welcome you, then Barkley’s Resort is the place for you! The views, amenities, trails, and hospitality were all so amazing. One of our nights there, we couldn’t get the heat to work....The next day, David went out of his way and spent at least an hour or two helping us out to get a heat source for the nighttime. We couldn’t believe how kind and helpful he was. It really meant a lot to us and showed how much he cares about his guests. Not to mention, all of the money made from this campsite goes directly to the SPCA! David shares his passion for helping animals and how the campsite is named after his dog Barkley who is now in puppy heaven. David also provided us with so many amenities and supplies that we did not expect! He truly made our stay. Leaving on our last day was bittersweet. We could have stayed there forever! Sleeping by the creek, listening to the water run and the wind rustle through the trees; it could not have been more perfect. It was honestly one of my favorite weekends ever. Being out in nature with no service was the perfect escape from the 9-5 and such a grounding experience. I highly recommend Barkley’s Resort and cannot wait to go back.”
