Such an amazing little getaway! We stayed for one night and Jim made sure everything was perfect and accessible for us! We got to hang out with him and chat for a bit - we got to learn a lot about the land. Will definitely be coming back!!

We loved sleeping next to a waterfall and the mattress was very comfortable. The bedding provided isn’t warm enough so you’ll have to bring extra if it’s cold outside. The tent could be cleaner and I wouldn’t rely on the solar shower (it’s just a small bag with water - maybe good for washing small body parts). Also, I wouldn’t rec using the wood stove that’s inside the tent as it could release carbon monoxide while you’re sleeping. Finally, you can hear some noise from the road, so not the most peaceful location but overall we still had a nice experience.

Even on a damp, post rainy Saturday night, we had a blast. Mini Yosemite is beautiful! The campsites are basic, but basic is all we needed. The tent, bed, in tent stove, firepit, cooking utensils, loo, and other amenities reduced our packing in and packing out time significantly. If you're looking for luxury glamping, perhaps this isn't it - but if you're familiar with camping, this is a lovely experience and a step above the usual car camping experience. The scenery is beautiful, hiking up to the upper falls was lovely, and our dogs enjoyed themselves immensely, too! You can hear/see lights from the road but it was quite minimal and didn't distract from our experience at all. The wood stove in the tent dried us out and kept the chill at bay. The other Tentrr site on property was far enough that it wasn't a bother, but close enough for a group booking. Host was communicative and thoughtful. We'll be back - thanks to Jim for your generosity and sharing your lovely property!

Overall we had a great stay despite the rain. Would recommend when not raining! Pros: - Beautiful location and surroundings. The waterfall, creek and general setting of the tent were excellent. - Nice deck and fire pit. - Dog friendly! Cons: - Having stayed at other Tentrr sites this one was comparatively fairly basic for what we paid. - It rained all weekend and although there were no leaks in the tent from above, water did seep in where the tent walls meet the floor. So whilst we stayed dry, our bags, some of the firewood and dog bed did get wet during the night. - As other reviews mentioned, there are some rocks to walk over getting between the car and the campsite. When dry I imagine this is easy going but became tricky in the rain. Both my wife and I had a couple slips so I wouldn’t say this is 100% accessible for all if raining and wet.

Overall, this was a really great spot and we will return. The pros: AMAZING location. Super private and incredibly beautiful. Had both my children and had the most relaxing time in a very long time. We are avid campers but because of time constraints, I needed something we could “walk in and start the fun” and this was almost it. Jim and his wife were super kind when we got to meet them; I’m sure they would have happily answered any question had we had any. The cons: advertised as being able to sleep 4 people, but is only one bed in the tent. Pop up tent and air bed available under the bed for us to set up but having booked for 3, I would have liked it to either be set up already, or at least a heads up before or after booking… I sent several messages before arriving but never got a réponse and didn’t know what we were going to find until we arrived. Luckily, I knew to bring my own bedding from previous reviews. Include pillows!
