“Beautiful area and the best sunsets. Minor issues upon arrival but campkeeper was super helpful and stay was smooth. Would def visit again. My kids loved the goats!”
“Great spot! Could see the sunrise and sunset without moving. The gas grill was an added bonus. Signage was a little tough to find, but once you got there it was fantastic. We made it up the hill in a regular car, but a 4 wheel drive would have been easier.”
“Hi there,
This is John and Kristi who stayed at your cool tent cabin last night.
Our apologies for not checking out with the camp keeper Damon before we left, but we rushed out to make our 9am Safari West tour.
Our whole stay was great , including our tent , the awesome location, the amenities and the peace and quiet. We will definitely return and tell all
Our friends of our amazing outdoor experience with your camp grounds and staff”
“I was pleasantly surprised to find some additions to our camp site. Toilet is enclosed, we had a sun shade and a bbq to use.
My daughter loved seeing all the farm animals.
We would come back again and will look into visiting the Petrified Forrest and Safari West next time.”
“Secluded location in the mountains, great for stargazing. You can find some petrified wood just at the site.
We had a somewhat scary experience when at 4pm a thunderstorm started with strong gusts of the wind. We had to quickly hide our stuff inside. The tent successfully withstood the severe weather.”
“One hiking trail at the site with very steep hills so be ready for the challenge if you have young kids. Beautiful views of the sunset, but fog/ cloud cover blocked the sunrise. There is no more electric fence as indicated in previous posts. My Toyota Corolla made it up the very steep hills but it was jarring at first. Damon is an awesome host! He even brought us eggs in the middle of the night after we forgot to pack them. We were able to purchase them fresh from his farm. You owe it to yourself to take in the views at this gorgeous mountain parcel.”
