So happy for a new concept of camping! It felt like a 5 star hotel except outdoors! Damon was awesome with providing water, utinsels (some at least), fresh eggs (which were bought in advance) and jalapeños! The campsite is cute! Was able to roast s’mores and sleep very well at night. Very nice for social distancing camping. 15 minutes away from Calistoga. Damon also let us visit his farm of goats and chickens. One downside (which is payed off by the view) is that it is a steep uphill to get to the campsite. You could benefit from a 4x4 but not necessary. My husband drove uphill so that was solved for us. Even though Damon has a very big property; he never bothered us. However he is a text away if you need something. Amazing! I will be back! Thank you for creating a beautiful experience! Did I tell you we also found a baby lizard???

Great camping spot, very clean beautiful sunset, cute outhouse, top notch outdoor shower. It was a little tricky to get to it, I was glad I have all wheel drive, I wouldn’t want to try the road in a car without it. Also, to get to the site required disconnecting an electric fence, which was a little scary as we had no directions. Also, we didn’t get the goat cheese we paid for in advance or really communicate with the camp host at all except when he told us how to disconnect the goat fence on our way in. Not sure how we were supposed to figure that out on our own? Overall a great first TentRR experience.

Beautiful location! Short drive to Calistoga, petrified forests, and more. Great camp amenities and everything in working condition. Our well-equipped campsite even had nice dish towels that saved us since we forgot to bring our own. This was my 3 year old son's first camping experience and he loved it. Damon and his family were great hosts that helped us with all of our questions in a timely and kind manner. We joined them in their large gardens for a fun morning of harvesting. Wonderful activity for young children, and of course you can come away with amazing fresh produce to boot.

Great secluded place, all was clean and some extras like flashlights, lanters, cuttlery, top-noch restroom were provided. All went smooth and had a nice chat with the host. Would come again, already recommended to friends.

The view is amazing, we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets there. The place is clean and close to town. We had a great time.

We loved our two-night stay here! It was secluded and cozy with more amenities than I expected. We ended up bringing our own kitchen supplies but they provide a lot of supplies, in case you forget anything. They also provided a popup canopy which was super helpful since there isn't a lot of shade. It was a great area to unplug and camp with our dogs. The air mattresses were a great step up from sleeping in sleeping bags. If the spot was a little lower in price, we definitely would have stayed longer. The closest town is a ways away, so bring plenty of food, water, firewood, and supplies. You also have to drive up a somewhat steep dirt/rocky road to get to the campsite.
