“Once defrosted, the chiles that I received we're slimy, unmalleable and in no way able to be utilized for stuffed rellenos. I have 3 pounds still frozen which I plan to use just for soup. Additionally, there was not much flavor. IF I reorder anything, it will be fresh hot green chilies that I will roast and peel myself, and then use. Incidentally, the generic brand canned that I've used in the past we're far superior in both texture and flavor. That in itself was extremely dissapointing.”

“I look forward to my chile order every other month although I could use it every month. My favorite thing is chile rellenos. I have three sisters who look forward to it too.”

“Great peppers, great service. This was my second order and they arrived in perfect condition, still frozen through in New Hampshire! Not quite as hot as I thought they would be, but perfect for rellenos.”

“The Big Jim chili has great green chili flavor BUT I wouldn't call it medium hot, at best it is mild...barely. Possibly its the one bag I opened, I'm crossing my fingers the other bags will be a true medium hot. The packaging is amazing, the delivery method was awesome, the chili was rock hard frozen when I unpacked it.”
