“First off, I’m eating a green chile frito pie as I write this review. I lived in NM from 1990 to 1996...and getting 75 lbs of fresh green delivered each year keeps me in the chile every day!!! The Lumbre is delicious. Spicy, but not too hot to eat on it’s own on eggs, a burger, or whipped into a salsa. And so, so flavorful. I roast, peel and freeze the chiles to use year round. Don’t know what I’d do without it-!”

“Best quality/freshness I have ever seen. Every pepper was as though it was picked the same morning it was shipped. Only tossed one pepper that was the only one in the entire box that was a little mushy. I was very impressed with the Quality, never seen fresher peppers than this, and they were exactly what I had ordered x-hot, great flavor and crunchy crispness. Would recommend to anyone, with flying colors. Buy them here, you won't be disappointed, but rather quite impressed.”

“The product is amazing -- it is an essential piece of the end-of-summer experience in New Mexico that I am now enjoying in Connecticut. The customer experience is wonderful. The chiles are easy to order, the process for getting them delivered without spoilage is flawless, and the chiles themselves warm the body and the soul.”

“If you love hot Chile’s in your recipes, you must order here!! I love roasting them and freezing them and sharing with friends!! I love the whole experience !!! I look forward to roasting time every year!!! And the customer service is awesome!! Kristin and MIke. West Chester pa. Ps. This was the first year that the peppers starting “ cooking “ themselves on the long journey right from the field. But, you just throw those out. You are roasting at high temps which will kill the slime if you happen to get some cooked ones :).”
