“Not very spicy compared to others I have purchased from another company. Overall chilis looked good. A few were odd with indentations of growth. After we roasted the 25lbs of chili ourselves, we ended up with 16lbs of Chili to freeze.”

“Got here in 2 days with all the chiles in good condition. I was really surprised (pleasantly) with the heat of this year's extra hot. I would classify them as XX Hot! They're terrific!”

“I can truly say, the lumbre we received this is the real deal, the crop we received last season was questionable; Meaning not as hot as it should, BUT not this season, very good crop, very hot, true New Mexico chile. New Mexico hot green chile is a staple, when you no longer live in NM, it is hard to found good chile. I look forward to a fresh crop each season. Keep the chile growing.”
