“Ordered frozen chile's. They were shipped in a styro-foam container, however, they were thawed out and warm upon arrival. Not sure they are ok to use.”

“We needed our fix this year and opted for receiving the chilies shipped rather than trying to find them locally in Portland, OR. Further, since we were travelling just around mid August, we had to have them come after a specific time period when we would be home to receive them. We phoned them and discussed the situation with the helpful and friendly staff there. They suggested specifying a "do not ship to arrive before" a certain date. It worked beautifully. The chilies arrived in an insulated container, were chilly to the touch and were vacuum-packed well. We froze several packs and made up some green sauce right away. Heavenly! I must say I couldn't detect any difference between the product we received mail-order and the chilies we bought freshly roasted and chopped later that day locally. If you can bear having someone else roast and chop your chilies, (I know some can't!) this is the way to go. These folks know their chilies, they want to share and they seem to be able to accommodate your needs.”

“I prefer hot Chiles, but my wife prefers mild so we compromised and purchased mild and medium-hot so she can always use some of mine. Both have the same great Hatch Chile taste that we remember from when we lived in Albuquerque.”
