“I not crazy about tomatoes in my salsas so I add red with my green hatch chilies and it makes the salsa look like it has tomatoes. Nice color. Roasted and packed in freezer for use when needed. Thank you. Can one still order the red Sandia chilies hot? I shouldn’t have received the Big Jim but Hot Sandia and was assured that I would… how does one tell the difference? Even if invoice says Big Jim, I should’ve gotten Hot Sandia chilies. Did I?”

“These are unquestionably Big Jim! Sampling after roasting while cleaning and cutting for vacuum sealing and freezing Had the full range from what taste as lower medium to lower hot heat levels! Am planing on using for Posole Rojo in the future.”

“I had 2 day delivery on my initial order and it came in several days late. The fruit was in poor condition. Subsequent orders, which were also 2 day delivery, arrived in poor condition. I would not order this product again due the quality and cost of 2 day shipping. If the fruit were to arrive fresh, I don't mind paying extra for shipping. The quality of fruit was poor after repeat mailings.”

Hi Glen, I am so sorry! Shipping fresh produce is very tricky. There is always the risk of in-transit spoilage. We do our very best to make sure our customers get all the chile they ordered in good shape. It looks like we have a reshipment set up for your Fresh Red Hatch Chile. Was the green spoiled as well?
