“This was the worst green chili I have ever purchased. The peppers were thin and stringy, looked like panty hose instead of a nice big pepper to make chili rellenos. I called back after using 3 packs out of the box and complained. They replaced that box. When I opened it the peppers had a very sweet flavor and ruined sauce. I have given up for now and will never trust these folks for my fresh green chili. This chili was not cheap either…..for this rice it should be the best in the state. Sorry. UNHAPPY CAMPER. Glad y’all finally asked me for my thoughts. I have lots of really bad chili I would like to send you.”

Hi Stephen, It doesn't look like you ever reached out to us about any issues with the reshipment. If we don't know there is an issue, we never have the chance to fix it. I'm not sure what you mean by ruined sauce, our chile is not shipped in any kind of sauce or water. Did the reshipment arrive frozen? If the chile did not arrive cold to the touch we do not recommend you eat it. Would you mind sending us some photos of the chile? Once we receive those photos we can work to get you some of the best chile for rellenos! 1904, which is the mild variety of Hatch Chile, is not known for being extremely large or a great variety for rellenos. If you want the biggest pods, I suggest you try our Charger or Big Jim, both of which have a medium heat level and are a family favorite. Thanks, Taylor

“These mild chiles are very thin and scrawny. They are thin with very look like the poorest of the harvest. The flavor is non existent and these do not compare to last years batch. I dont mind paying premium $$ for good product, but this years quality is very poor. I will try for an exchange or return. Sorry folks, the chilis I have this year are not worth the money.”
