Dassai “39” Reviews

Every Dassai sake I have tried so far has been excellent. It must be the reason it is so often sold out. A polishing rate of below 50 yields a whole other flavor. If you’ve never tried a Junmai Daiginjo, try this, or start with the Dassai 45. With each lower rate, it only gets better. I’m waiting for a 29 now!

Only slightly different from the Dassai 45...pretty smooth and great with cheese appetizers!

This is a very dry sake with a lot of complexity. It doesn't have any strong or overbearing tastes so I find it quite good.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Dassai 39! It is dry sake but still very delicious, especially pairing with Japanese food like sushi!

I honestly did not expect to enjoy this as much as I have. It's got complex aromas and tastes that I found extremely appealing. Would definitely recommend.

Can’t go wrong with any of the Dassai, they get better with each level. Our go to when in Japan when we go out for Yakitori. So happy we can get here in US from Tippsy
