Very sooth. A bit sweet to my taste, but still an excellent sake. Oh, and the bottle is beautifull, too.

This is by far the worst sake I've ever tasted, among the few I would call undrinkable and disgusting. The bitter wood note reminds me of cheap Italian grappa. I highly recommend Choryo “Yoshinosugi no Taru Sake” for this style done with a pleasant taste.

This was the first Taru sake I had ever tried and I was blown away. Every sip made me feel like I was walking through a cedar forest. Perfectly balanced with just the right amout of cedar in the nose. A great value as well. AMAZING!!!

the pepper "note" is essentially all you can taste, really needs to be paired with something robust to fully appreciate, not for solo drinking

Absolutely loved the mild sweetness and strong notes of cedar.
