“The “Drunken Whale” is my go-to sake. Room temperature or very slightly cooled. It pairs well with the other sake, salmon, thinly sliced cold smoked and served with seasoned nori squares.”
“Suigei is classic. I used to drink this all the time when I was in Japan. The price is reasonable and it pairs well with most Japanese foods. I've drank it hot before too and it was good nurukan (luke warm).”
“A very good sake to have with a variety of foods. Not quite as interesting as Suigei's Koiku 54, but a really solid tokubetsu junmai and a good overall value.”
