“This sake is perfect for spring time. Refreshing and citrusy. Beautiful notes of mandarin orange and a slight sweet aftertaste. I enjoyed it with a plate of Brie cheese and dates, a really lovely combination. I liked it best as it warmed up, just slightly chilled.”

“A really enjoyable tokubetsu junmai! Tiniest gold tinge, like the world's subtlest canary diamond. Scent very clean. Medium mouth fill, with trace of ricey sweetness, followed by a clean finish. To me, there was a light hint of pear (maybe more than orange). I enjoyed Nanbu Bijin with gyu-don, but feel like it would be great with a wide variety of foods.”
