“I recently completed the CPTM program and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The online modules taken before the live practicum had incredible information for training managers at any experience level. The live practicum was the icing on the cake! I appreciated how it took all the information learned in the modules and expanded on the topics, providing real-world examples/scenarios. Meeting and creating relationships with the members of the cohort was probably my favorite part. It was wonderful to be able to hear other L&D leaders' experiences, share struggles, and collaborate on solutions/recommendations (both hypothetical and real-world). I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to get a deeper dive into the training management world. I am looking forward to applying what I learned in the CPTM program to my work as a training manager!”

“I highly recommend the CPTM course, it’s the most valuable training program that I have ever experienced. I appreciated all of the information available on what to expect so that I could plan accordingly and set myself up for success while working through the modules (prework). For me, the highlight of it all was the Practicum, and I continue to share that experience with others often. The Practicum brought the content of the modules to life, both through the instructor and engagement with my peers. I now have the knowledge, tools, ongoing support, and confidence needed in my role to positively impact my organization. I gained so much from this course, and began to immediately make changes in my processes as a result.”

“I have been in Training Coordination for about 5.5 years. I felt like I knew how to work in the here and now but, didn't really feel like I was able to communicate to further our Training Programs moving forward. Going through the CPTM Certification process, gave me the confidence to hop out of Imposter Syndrome and put myself out there more with Leadership Communications. The Certification gave me the tools and resources to kick off the forward movement and the Post Certification Network I am now a part of gives me the daily encouragement needed to continue to grow, network, and share with like-minded individuals.”

“The entire certification process is top notch. The eLearning provided a great foundation, the practicum gave insights into real world situations and provided networking with like-minded professionals, and the exam was challenging but attainable. Overall, a great experience that prepared me to lead my training organization within my company at a new level. After passing, I was given even more recourses to continue my development. “With knowledge comes power and by power, I mean EMPOWERMENT. My role as Division Chief of our Professional Development and Training division really allowed me to see where my competencies lacked, where I needed to improve and also learned more about training management, in general. I was able to take what I've learned in the CTPM program and develop a cohesive strategic plan and goals for my division that fit right into my organization's overall strategy. I am much more confident in the direction my team is going and can safely say we have clear goals that are actionable that will benefit not only the staff but our agency as a whole. The training managers framework made it all so clear to me. As someone whose background was not in training, this program really stepped up my game and I feel more empowered to work on behalf of our training and training professionals. I was able to use the program skills almost immediately after passing the exam.”
