“I replaced all three JJ 12AU7 tubes in my Rogue CM ii with the Brimar CV4003s (best of the best matched set). They where a big jump over the stock tubes right from the start. These tubes were dead silent, smooth and the music was sweet. However, an intermittent popping sound appeared after approximately 50 hours of play. The center tube failed and had to be replaced with the original JJ tube. Brimar is not a bad product, I just got a bad tube. The hard part is ordering one that matches the other two.”

“After one of my previous Brimars went bad I put all my previous tube experiments back into Rogue Sphinx v3 and nope, I knew I needed 3more, one to replace the previous one and a backup pair. Beautiful! So thanks Kevin I’m a happy customer. Break out some more 12AU7s man!”

“I upgraded the stock JJ’s 12au7 tubes with these in my Rogue Audio Sphinx V3. They made a huge difference. Much cleaner sounding and warm now.”
