“Great tubes. Slight higher, but barely audible, hiss than brand new tubes. Highs are airy, vocals natural and bass is full yet tight.”

“I used these tubes in my Rogue Audio Pharaoh and the improvement was even better than I expected. The midrange is smoother, a very noticeable increase in resolution and the soundstage expanded. Very happy with these tubes!”

“These are the best tubes I've tried in my Rogue Sphinx 2. I'm playing through Magnepan .7 speakers, a vn upgraded v. 1 MicroRendu, and a Project PreBox, with Audioquest interconnects and an RSL 1" Superspeed subwoofer. Using Quboz and a Qnap NAS. I've tried the current Telefunken (J&J) 12au7, which I did not find interesting, and did not improve the sound on my system (OEM 12au7 (J&J)s). I tried Cifte NOS from Upscale and loved them, but I have worn them out and cannot find replacements. I bought a pair of Telefunken NOS 12au7 which never worked reliably (microphonics in the Sphinx), so I gave up. The Mullard NOS (1962) were not satisfying.to me. So I am ecstatic about the Brimars. Hope they last.”

“First off, I would like to thank, Randall from Upscale Audio for assisting me in returning a tube and getting a replacement quick and hassle free. I was using an upgrade tubes for my Rogue Audio Medusa amp and wanted to try the Brimar CV4003 because of the positive reviews. I wanted a little more HF extension and was hoping these tubes would provide it. They did and more. The HF are extended but are silky smooth, the mid also got a boost and maybe the bass too. What I really like about these tubes are how clear, smooth and detail they are. Definitely keepers. These tubes have transform my two channel system to another level.”
