“I'm not sure i should review so early. I built a pair of 6ck4 mono blocks pushpull. But these new rectifier tubes have added more depth and bass. I don't think the amps or tubes have both broken in yet. played on a set of vintage phillips ticonal 5200m 12" full range drivers in vintage heathkit cabs it sounds pretty good. close your eyes and listen, kevin”

“You always wonder what your money has purchased. Read all the reviews, others comments, etc., but what can you expect in your system? I'm happy to say this tube created a new world in my system. Better than I could have expected or imagined. I hear (isn't that key?) greater clarity, separation and subtleties of instruments. Add to this a more overall fullness of sound. Yeah, all from a $100 investment. Just amazed. Totally pleased.”

“This tube inserted into my Line Magnetic integrated made a bigger difference than I was expecting. The overall presentation of the sound seems "cleaner" and "fresher" to me subjectively. This was not a subtle effect. The driver tubes are said to make the most difference when you roll tubes and this rectifier tube also makes it into that category. The sound was very good before but now I think I have wrung out all the potential in the amplifier's possibilities. And it was value for money.”

“I had been tinkering with a few new stock 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier tubes. Don't waste your time. This tube is all about the music. The LS-100 is so revealing of anything you put in it that it can be a challenge to get the balance you want from your 6SN7/rectifier combo. I've now found that balance. I'm using the Shuguang Black Treasures 6SN7's and with this rectifier the music just literally floats in the sound stage. Smooth, dynamic, airy, sophisticated - all the usual adjectives apply, but there's just something magic about this rectifier that makes the LS-100 sing. Playing into AE Sixpacs with RCA 12BZ7, new stock Gold Lion KT77's and Nola Contender speakers. A great find Kevin...Thanks.”

“I have used these rectifiers in 2 different Fi amps: the 2A3 and 300B models with terrific results. Texture, flow, and dynamics of the music were better than any previously used tubes. The sound was simply delicious and engaging making it difficult to tear myself away from the music. Overall, outstanding performance at a great price. Thank-you Kevin!”

“All I can say is these are a big improvement over the stock tubes and greatly improved the sound. I would never consider buying tubes anywhere else other than Upscale Audio.”
