“I bought a pair of these tubes on the recommendation of a good friend. More out of curiosity, because I was wearing a pair of excellent VT-244 Black Plates 1949. I must confess that exceeded all my expectations. These rectifiers are the best I've ever heard in my life. The combination with the sonic signature of my CARY SLi 80 was killer! And the price, it's a bargain! highly recommended ...”

“An absolutely dynamite rectifier. Bass lost the tiny bit of wooliness I had with the stock tube and became more taught and controlled. Image definition is rock solid and the sense of 3D improved as well. And did I mention how cool they look?!? Do make sure you have enough vertical space for them ... they are quite tall. I liked them so much I bought a second/spare pair.”

“I have owned the ultra-rare Mullard metal-base 5AR4, the beautiful GZ33 and GZ37, and RCA 5U4G. In my current pre-amp, the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Three, it trumphs everything. The mids sound organic is a way I thought was not possibke. So I installed into my Cary SLI-80 Sig Formula 1 integrated amp. Again it rules. I was getting bummed out by the price of the best rectifiers. Thnaks Uncle Kevin for again coming through to save the day!”
