“I was born with Becker's Muscular Dystrophy, and started to have troubles getting up and down from a low seats in my late 30's. I could not use the tilting lift recliners as I needed to be able to lock my knees to get up. So I scoured the internet for chairs that do not tilt when lifting and found the Vela chair. They were in Denmark, but only worked with Enable Me in the States exclusively. I purchased the vela independence chair. I have had it for many years and I do not think I would still be mobile today if I had not. Everyone I have spoken to here have been top notch and are passionate about Enabling their customers to have a full life with the help of their products. I would highly recommend Enable Me.”

“The Independence Chair is just what my mother needed. Her illness (Inclusion Body Myositis) weakens the arm and leg muscles to lift herself up from a sitting position, so the vertical lift function of this chair gives her independence in getting in and out of a chair on her own. Also with the caster wheels, she can easily move it around the house. She is average height, but we ordered the taller 300 mm actuator, giving a 12-inch range of lift, rather than just an 8-inch range. This made all the difference in her particular case. She could go low enough to easily fit under her computer desk and the dining room table, yet also high enough to not have any trouble standing up from the chair. We received the chair just 8 days after we ordered it even though it shipped all the way across the U.S. We assembled it in just minutes, as it comes in just 2 main pieces. The chair is high quality and has given my mom freedom to sit and stand on her own. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone with mobility issues. Enable Me has been a great company to work with and were very helpful in answering all our questions. We are so grateful for this product.

“Fabulous chair that works perfectly as expected. I purchased it for my 92-year old father to help him move around at home. He was reluctant to use it at first, but it has made a huge difference in his ability to maneuver in his home on his own. The chair is quality-made of materials that wear well and it is very comfortable to sit on. I was surprised to see how high the seat could be raised and how low it could go down. Everything is adjustable on this chair and it makes it extremely easy to use. My father's home is carpeted with a medium pile. We placed a chair mat over the carpet at the table where he eats. The mat really makes maneuvering easy at the table. Otherwise, the chair moves fine across the carpet and around the house. It easily fits through doorways and goes around obstacles. The house was built in the 50's, so it was not designed for any handicapped access. The chair is truly a difference maker and my entire family is happy with the purchase that enables my father to live his life where and how he desires.”

“In Feb after a fall at work I discover the enable me chair, we reach out to Enable me and Brandon Wachfeitl became our quality of life expert , he met with us at the business so I could try out the chair , we determine that the chair was a good fit for me we then began the process of submitting paperwork to my employer to see if they would purchase the chair, Brandon, stay in touch constantly and provided quotes pictures, updated quotes as needed I was able to get the purchase approved and it was submitted to Enable me on August 16, on August 18 my chair was delivered to my employer and was ready for my use on Friday the 19th truly and amazing company and truly and amazing chair, it has given me back independence at work and confidence and safety I truly recommend this chair and this company if your looking for a chair like this reach out to them and Brandon, you will not be disappointed by their excellent customer service”
