“The Vela chair enables me to function in a near normal manner. Considering I am enabled to prepare MY favorite omelet as I want, use the kitchen dishwasher with ease (like getting the soap from under the sink), as well as up to the microwave, and, access the bottom freezer drawer et al areas unavailable till the Vela. When I am in the kitchen, I use my chair in conjunction with a small 3 shelf cart for transporting stuff between areas,
Then there is the sock drawer, doing laundry, accessing LP records and my turntable WITH EASE. Because of these and all the unmentioned successful RE-ENTRIES I have appropriate multiple reminders to RECHARGE the battery. And, I use the Vela chair for exercise. I have the handle accessory which enables me to push the chair between the two tile floors (office and kitchen) across about 37 feet of carpet. Why did I not have this mobility device 12 years ago ? Well, so be it. I Have it now thanks to the wonderful folks”

“I recently purchased an Independence Chair for my office and love the way I can change the height of the chair (up to 30 inches) easily even as I remain seated. The comfort, mobility, and ergonomics of this chair are outstanding! “We bought 3 chairs for my dad and he loves them. They enable him to be more independent. He puts on the brakes when he needs to stand up and he uses the rolling feature to reach nearby items. The chairs are much more attractive than the others we found.”
