We absolutely love the daily chlorine and pH readings as well as temperature. Our pool has never looked cleaner. However, we had some trouble with the total alkalinity and we were adding massive amounts of chemicals to fix it with little to no changes in readings. We finally took our water to Leslies and they gave us reading which differered significantly and we had to reverse everything we had done. The whole process cost us well over $100 and it was most likely not necessary. We no longer pay attention to the TA readings. We have started utilizing the test tubes that Water Guru will send out to compare our results but in doing that they deleted all of our historical data on our TA levels. Our phosphates were elevated and we attempted to treat. We are awaiting the results of that. We have recently re purchased some dip sticks to compare results. Like I said, overall we are very happy with the daily cholorine and pH readings and getting these daily has really helped up keep our pool nice and clean. Water Guru just needs to figure out what is going on with it's other readings because it is really bad business to have your customers spending uneeded $ and actually making their pools worse, not better based on readings that are incorrect. This being said I WOULD ONLY TRUST THE CHLORINE AND pH READINGS.

PH, calcium hardness, salt and cyranic acid readings are off compared to pool store reading. Calcium hardness and cyranuric acid are way off. Same day measurements are as follows: (store/Guru) PH (7.8/8.4), Calcium hardness (212/395), cyranuric acid (36/8) and salt (3590/2960).

It's a great product. It tells you exactly what you need so you dont have to constantly dump chemicals into your pool.

The readings I get vary too much from standard test kit results at times.. I think part of the issue is the testing from inside the skimmer vs a test from 1 to 2 feet below the surface of the water... the results do alert me to potential issues though so I continue to use and evaluate.

I purchased the C5 Cassette about 4 weeks ago thinking it would be better than the C2 I’ve purchased in the past. However it consistently reads about 2 points higher FC than what the water test shows. It’s not trust worthy so pretty useless. The Alkalinity and water hardness is also off by quite a bit compared to the actual water test at local pool store.
