“Great idea to have a Combo pack so I can get the pool up and running off the fancy cassette and then settle in with the simple one. Thye just need to keep the cassettes in stock next year!”
“I really like knowing what the chemical levels are in my pool. Easy to keep up with changes from rain water and to make adjustments. Helps with pool plaster life also.”
“My first cassette was evidently defective, would not read chlorine...there customer service is very good ! If you have an issue..they will solve it.

“Do not purchase this product. Except for the FC and Ph level measurements, all other others are grossly inaccurate and vary wildly. The FC and Ph measurements tend to be fairly accurate, or at least I’d say they are “acceptable approximations”. However, if I didn’t know better, and I had blinded followed the readings and corrective “advice” given by the app to mitigate its measured imbalances (even for FC and Ph), I’d likely have severely disrupted all the key chemical levels in my 16k gallon pool. Had I done this (blindly followed the neat app suggestions), I would have likely spent a small fortune in pool chemicals (I.e., as per the recommendations by the app) that would have wreaked havoc on and completely imbalance my pool’s chemistry. This small fortune would have subsequently grown when you consider the cost of actions and material needed to properly correct the imbalance. The later would have included costs associated with draining and refilling a significant amount of pool water with fresh water, purchasing even more chemicals, and (potentially) longer term costs associated damage and accelerated degradation to the pool plaster, piping, and mechanical components.
If you love the idea of having a WiFi connected machine look after your pool, send you daily notifications and “advice”, and simply MUST have this product. Do not go with the sense2. It’s disappointing. About as disappointing as the product support “bot” and the folks in the call center (but probably less as the support center were understanding and helpful). My advice would be to just go with the cassette that measures FC and Ph. It will last 3 times longer and be generally accurate.
That said, and I cannot emphasize this enough, DO NOT FOLLOW THE ADVICE GIVEN BY THE APP’s algorithm without testing the water yourself. Be suspicious of every measurement. Understand that pool chemistry is not some sort of chaotic system that drastically changes daily. Furthermore, if you DO need chemicals, buy them locally and NOT from/through the app. You will save money and probably get some good advice from the guy at the local pool store.
My two cents…
