“I would give them 5 stars but the C5 reading of cyanic acid is way off! It bounces between 150- 200 ppm. I independently tested the water and get 60-70 ppm. I have not used cyn containing chlorine tabs since last November and last week and I drained 1/2 the pool water before using the C5 cartridge.”
“I really like the WaterGuru, it provides daily updates on my pool's health and allows me to make small corrections in water quality. Prior to having this system, I would generally only test the water on the weekends when I had time, then I'd have to make major corrections to chlorine, alkalinity, PH and the pool never seemed clean.”
“Initial 1 star review: I installed a new cassette and my chlorine reading is Zero. I did a separate test and my chlorine is normal but the Water Gure keeps reporting negative levels of chlorine.
5 Star updated review: Customer service reached out to me, without me contacting them, to correct the issue. They were very supportive and its sending me another case to resolve the issue of not reading the chlorine levels. This type of action speaks highly of them. In the future, I will contact them directly knowing now how their customer service department works with their the customers.”
“I would rather have 3 cassettes of the 2 month cassettes than 2 + 1 month of daily testing of alkilinity.
Would be nice if they could make 2 month cassettes with a alkilinity and hardness test every 14 days. 28 days in a row of the alkilinity test is a waste.”
“It’s reporting chlorine, muratic acid, total alkalinity and calcium hardness but I am not getting CYA, phosphates, copper or iron. Other than those issues it’s been fine.”
“We are very satisfied with the Water Guru unit in general. It gives you daily accurate measurements for you to monitor the overall chemistry of your water. The only issue we have had to date is the unavailability of the C-5 cassettes as a three-pack. The C-5 cassette gives a wider range of readings which all are relevant to keeping your water in-balanced especially since our pool was recently re-plastered. Please work to provide the 3-pack of the C-5 cassettes. Thanks.”
