This is the second SENSE monitor I have received. The first failed after a month and a half of use. The device failed because it would not detect water flow which requires you to remove the batteries to reboot it and then hope it measures correctly if at all again. I find that the device is reasonably accurate in terms of pH and chlorine levels. All other test results never line up with the Taylor test kit results done by me and also the local pool store. The alkalinity, stabilizer and calcium levels always differ from the manual test kit by wide margins. I cannot recommend this as it is more trouble than it’s worth.

When it works. it is a great little service... but I've already had to RMA two of these units due them dying after a few months of service. Customer support is confident that this most recent replacement will last longer than the 3 mos of the other two, but only time will tell.

The unit itself is great and makes keeping your pool balanced a piece of cake. But their customer service is even better. They’re always available to help troubleshoot if you run into an issue and ensure you’re able to use your sense effectively.
